Burton family has been in the outfitting business since 1973 with
experience going far back into the early 60's. In 1981, Igloo Lake Lodge
as well as the Eagle's Nest Lodge was conceived. Since 1973 Flowers
River Lodge, famous for its large salmon, also belongs to the Burton
family. The perfect combination of fishing, staff and facilities and the
serenity and isolation of the Labrador wild will give you something to
remember long after you have returned home.
Igloo Lake Lodge is a fly in Lake with an outstanding angling facility
deep in the remote wilderness of Labrador. The family's mission is to
provide every customer with friendly professional service, great
accommodation and a unique opportunity to experience exceptional brook
trout fishing from which many will be in the 4 to 6 pound range! The
chances of catching a real trophy brook trout on dry flies, small
emergers or tiny nymphs are high.
Igloo Lake offers excellent fly fishing possibilities for experienced
anglers who love to experiment but also is ideal for old and novice
anglers as well. Of course we keep a strict catch and release policy.
